Absolutely Flocked is a free bird identification app for iPhone and Android. Take a photo of a bird (or pick one from your camera roll) and AI identifies the species in seconds. When two birds look alike, it shows you the top candidates instead of guessing.
Every bird you identify goes into your dex: a collection of the species actually found in your county, built from public bird sighting data from GBIF.org. Birds you haven't seen yet show up as silhouettes, and each species gets a rarity tier based on how widespread it is in your state or province. Streaks, seasonal leaderboards, friends, and achievements turn it into a game.
It's built for curious beginners rather than seasoned birders, and it works in the US and Canada. Photo ID is always free. The optional Flock Pass ($2.99/month or $24.99/year) adds full cards for rare birds, field notes, songs and calls, and recent sightings near you.
